These are so comfy and cute, but you must get a large enough size so they’re loose around your legs. I have 7 pairs of these now! I’m 5’7”, 160 lbs. and the XL is best, but the L works, too. Both are baggy. I wear them lower on my hips – they are’t high rise shorts – and you can fold down the waist if you like. I’ve seen several pics from reviewers saying they don’t fit right and the reason for that is because those folks didn’t get the proper size – they chose a size way too small. They shouldn’t be tight or snug around your legs, hips or bottom!
