This is a bulkier, oversized cotton-blend sweater. Sizing down is probably a good idea. The body of the sweater is generous, and its elongated style balances the bulk of the tunic. I’m 5’4″ and wish the sweater were a couple of inches shorter, but it doesn’t swallow me whole, so I’m keeping it. Nice for colder fall days ahead with jeans and boots.

This sweater is as described – over-sized and super comfortable. I like the loose turtle neck and that sleeves are fitted at wrist. It is big, long and boxy and runs large. It looks and feels well made so feel price was worth it. The ribbed material won’t pill which is always a plus. It’s thick but material won’t roast you, feel like this is going to be great thru fall and winter. I’m wearing w/ skirt and boots to work but will be perfect w/ jeans or leggings outside office. I’m 5’6″ and falls nicely to top of thighs. I saw picture where you can pull over shoulder(s) which would be cute if you can pull it off.

Love Free People big chunky sweaters like this!! It is going to be oversized, so you can purchase your regular size or go one size down (and it will likely still be slouchy even in one size smaller). But this look is so trendy right now and this sweater is beautiful. Fabric is thick – not “soft” but not “itchy” either.

I love these sweaters and ordered multiple colors! They’re cozy and easy to throw on over leggings/ jeans. I’m pregnant but really don’t want to buy many maternity-specific clothes. The oversized look leaves room for all stages and is something I can wear when I’m no longer pregnant too. Im normally 5’6, 110 and ordered my normal size XS. These fit well before I gained baby weight, and still fit now showing off my 20lb bump. ??

Great fit. Very comfortable

I love this sweater! I have it in blue and now in black. The sweater is pretty thick, although not crazy hot. It is VERY oversized as it’s supposed to be – but depending on how you’d like to wear it – choose your size wisely.
The smaller you go in size the shorter it will be. I have the blue in medium and the black in a small and the fit it pretty much the same other than the length. It would be illegal for me to wear the black as a dress.

Runs large, but one of my favorite pieces! It is so flattering, and can be worn so many different ways. I am 5 foot tall, and it fits me like a large tunic. I get tons of compliments on it, and especially love the neckline.

Love this sweater. Nice, substantial weight without being too heavy and I like the elegance of the funnel neck. I am 5’7, 130 and ordered the med, I can front tuck It or wear it out…I prob would have been fine with the small but I’m not exchanging it.
Lisa –
I am usually a small or medium. Ordered this in small as reviews said it runs large. While the length of small was good (I’m 5’6) and covered the butt, the width was still way too wide. I returned because I think the XS would have been too short in the sleeves. Loved the quality & color however.

I LOVE this sweater. It’s so comfortable and flattering. You can wear it anywhere. Even though it’s “slouchy” it doesn’t look sloppy. I get so many compliments on it, too. Runs large though, so order a size down if you’re between sizes:) I think I’ll check for more colors!

This Tunic is so timeless. I know I know, the price is a bit steep, but it will be a staple piece in your closet for all seasons. Note, it does run big, I ordered the Medium and I am currently a size 12-14-16. Also I already own this in black, and for some reason the black and white differ in size (the black is not as long as the white- and the white is softer). The tunic is flattering for work, holiday parties, church, going out, you name it, and you can wear it. The white/cream is not see through and it is so comfy too! Do yourself a favor and purchase it- you deserve it!

I really liked this, but holy cow, the medium hit me mid-thigh. I am 5’8″, not particularly short. I’m not sure at what point something officially stops being a tunic and starts being a dress, but this thing is dancing right on the edge of that line. The small would be an inappropriately short dress for me. The pictures don’t really give a sense of the enormity of this sweater. It is not in any way fitted or close to the body like the models kind of show. It is massive. Like, you could pitch it in your backyard and your whole family and possibly some neighbors could camp in it. I’m going to return and order an XS and hope that fits less cartoonishly. I am 5’8″, 150 lb, 32FF, for reference.

Ok so it’s comfy. But I can’t believe no one has commented on how stupid the neckline looks. It’s like wearing an oblong bowl on top of your shoulders. This could be a decent piece of loungewear but I wouldn’t wear it out of the house.

I love this sweater; it is super comfy, stylish, and long enough for me! FYI I am 5’11” and about 165lbs., and a lot of tops don’t fit well. I got a M in this sweater, and it is long enough. The sleeves are 3/4 length, so that works out just fine. I know some people mentioned not liking the neck, but I really like it!

I ordered an XS black sweater. Fabric is very cool finely textured horizontal rib and the sleeves are tight around forearms, so they stay put nicely. Neckline is also very flattering. Unfortunately the body of the sweater is so “slouchy” that it overpowered my 5′ tall frame. I’m disappointed that I have to return it!!

I wanted to love this, I really did. However, it is too stiff and the neck is…weird. Instead of the neck just making the sweater look cozier it just looks like someone’s big ol head stretched it out.

Even though I went down a size there was still too much fabric at the back
Becky –
Ran small, not large and too tight in the arms and too heavy.

Oversized (and warm) – exactly what I was looking for. Great quality, too!
Ann –
I love the color and fabric of this sweater. My usual size is large, but I ordered a medium based on previous reviews. I should have ordered the small! Even the medium was way too large. I will return, since it looks silly that big.

Adorable and cozy tunic. Perfect paired with sleek leggings and booties on a chilly day!
Serena –
There is a reason the model is pulling the mock neck with her hand. It looks really awkward. I usually wear size 6, the xsmall fit well mostly, sleeves were a bit snug. For reference I’m 132lbs, 5’7”.

Hilarious and odd fit! The neckline really ruins this sweater. It stands up stiff, is very wide and makes the sweater look like a paper doll dress, like it’s just floating on top of you. Trying to push the neck down only makes it look worse. It’s too small to pull over one shoulder. The fabric is a bit rough and thick and the side profile is not flattering. I am 5’7″ and 120lbs and ordered size small with intentions to wear with leggings. It is a good length for that and very oversized, but it just looked ridiculous. Had a good laugh then immediately returned.

I love this sweater! I’ve embarrassingly bought it in four colors. It’s the perfect length for leggings, it washes well (you’re not supposed to dry it, but I dry mine in the dryer and I didn’t notice shrinking), and it doesn’t pill. It runs big–really big. If you’re going for the really oversized look like on the model, order a size down. If you want it to run a just little big, order two sizes down. I’m an XL in everything, and this sweater in a medium is still baggy/oversized. The neck is big and wide, like a wide cowl neck, but I like the look of it.

This is a beautiful piece, I love the cream color and the weight is perfect for SoCal cool evenings. I wear a small in free People and this is tts. The only reason I am returning is that I am afraid the funnel collar will get make up on it immediately. Just looking down or eating will be a problem. Too bad bc I love it otherwise.
